I use Half & Half and noticed the same thing. The internet says "Half-and-half lasts longer than milk primarily due to its higher fat content, which reduces the amount of water available for bacteria to thrive. Additionally, half-and-half is often ultra-pasteurized, further extending its shelf life compared to regular milk." I wonder if they don't pasteurize the buhjeebus out of eggnog because of the eggs.
We had roast chicken however my oven has decided to say I’ve had enough ….and hubs has advised me not to use it cause it throws our safety switch out …so I cooked the chicken on the stove top in my heavy cast enamel pot , threw spuds in the pot when chook was almost cooked / cooked cauli / green beans / carrots and …chicken gravy.. had a small mango between us for desert
It is going to be a soupy soup day today for us. Have been indulging, we had pizza yesterday, so back to the brothy food again for me, at least.
