Stir-fry, red, yellow, green bell peppers, brown rice, turkey, bamboo shoots, 'out of onions'. water. Didn't have any other veggies to add.
Ham, black-eyed peas, baked sweet potatoes. I like to add butter and a drizzle of honey to a baked sweet 'tater. Also a relish plate of cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, banana peppers, and radishes. All except the radishes were from Aerogardens in the dining room.
I had the French Dipper; he had the Spicy Chicken Dipper. They were really good but we should have bought the "half" size since they are really big and lots of bread.
I've seen the commercials for those, and almost drove to Charlottesville to get one. I love me a good French Dip, and Panera food is always good. I wonder if they have horseradish...
I didn't even think about horseradish! And I have some in the fridge. We thought the sandwiches were very good; I love ciabatta bread. The onion soup was OK but I wouldn't drive across town to get it. I actually prefer an au jus for french dip. My husband said the tomato soup tasted like jarred spaghetti sauce so he didn't eat it, haha.
I don't understand. Do they offer an au jus, or is the combo strictly French onion soup? I won't bother if there's no au jus (although I like their French onion soup.) There's a chain called BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse that has a decent French Dip. I think you have a few out your way.
No; they don't offer au jus. This "limited time" combo comes with onion soup as the dipper. There are a couple of sandwich shops in this area that have decent french dips. Outback has a good prime rib sandwich that is on a crusty roll and has horseradish sauce, but no au jus.
