People think politicians tell the truth too. Aliens don't exist, and politicians do not tell the truth. Keep it simple. The "aliens" may be just like kids drawings today, by adults or by kids, just like they used to set up a wooden pole and worship it. The wooden pole cannot help them, and believing in aliens is just like believing face masks work, after proven otherwise. And then there is all the fraud and counterfeiting today, very widespread. Government report was released today. It says they can't explain 143 of the 144 encounters made by military observers. The report speculates that some incidents could be sensor errors or misperceptions, and says there is no evidence of extraterrestrial origins or earth-bound foreign data collection attempts or major advances in technology. Gee, I was hoping the Vulcans would finally be revealed as looking for the best first contact location.
Here's the logic I can never seem to get beyond: If space is infinite, then there is an infinite number of galaxies and planets. Therefore, the odds of there being other life must be 100%. Now, whether that life has conquered space travel, and whether that life is anthropomorphic (shaped like humans) is a different subject. But in an infinite universe...
