@Steve North I just searched for Jewish New Year and these came up. I just took a screenshot of one page but there's more images. When you find one you like, save it to your computer ...I have an ipad so do it differently but it's basically like posting your avatar pic. Jewish New year is coming up soon....I better find a pic also.
Strictly speaking, that can be a problem. In forums, where the images are used by forum members and the not the administrator, it usually isn't. That's why I don't get too excited about it. On other web sites or blogs, that is almost guaranteed to result in a letter from an attorney, though.
Ok, yes I see it by members...one forum has one thread called colors or something and it has hundreds of pages of images from Google or Bing....going back years.
I think it's recognized that, like Facebook, it would be pretty hard for an administrator to ascertain just where every image posted to the site came from. So if someone complains that someone has used an image of theirs, I'll remove whatever they're complaining about, and it shouldn't be a problem.
I save the pics to my docs/pics then upload using Tinypic there's also meme generators to make your own https://imgflip.com/memegenerator You can have a blast with this stuff
@Chrissy Page Copyright infringement? AFAIK, the legal issue has been debated ad nauseum, without real resolution. If one uses copyrighted corporate logos, references, etc., for enhancement or other purposes, law intervenes. Internet is a public place, so I hear, and difficult to ascribe infringement to. @Ken Anderson will know far more about this than I, and may refute my statement. OK with me, I'd like to know. Frank
What makes a post come up in light-blue hues? Edit: Now here's a weird one! If I scroll onto the text in my post #21, it underlines all of it in black! Left-click brings Ken's black profile flag up on top. Says he is viewing the thread currently! Brand-new imponderable! I love 'em!
