    Did you know that Boris Karloll played in westerns before he played Frankenstein.

    I think I've seen him in Frankenstein before, but don't think I've seen him in westerns though.

    He was the original Frankenstein that role made him famous. He played that role in a few different films.

    1887-1969.
    Actor. For over four decades, he terrified movie audiences by playing monsters, mad scientists, and other menacing characters. Karloff will be forever remembered for his portrayal of Frankenstein's creation The Monster in the classic 1931 picture Frankenstein. He repeated the role in the sequel The Bride of Frankenstein...

    Frank Eaton, "Pistol Pete" In the late 1860's, 8 yr old Eaton witnessed six men kill his father. In 1875, when he was 15, he learned the whereabouts of his father's killers. But before setting off on his mission to avenge his father's death, he decided to visit Ft. Gibson, OK a cavalry fort, to learn more about handling a gun. He learned, and out shot everyone at the fort, earning him the nickname. Later in life, he moved to OK. Terr. and became a US Marshal.

    Frank "Pistol Pete" Eaton was a true American cowboy. His likeness inspired Oklahoma State's beloved mascot. On April 9, 2022, Eaton was inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum Hall of Great Westerners. In attendance, 28 Pistol Pete alumni, honoring the man they once portrayed.
