There are still parts of the world where humans live a natural life. Raccoons and other scavengers are simply taking advantage of a ready source of food.

I can debate with you on your statement but I won't because it does not pertain to my situation here in my part of this world where I live which is as natural and has been all my life.

I guess it depends on how you define "natural."

    Without arguing "Good" or "Bad"...

-Our food is centrally mass-produced and processed by others without our involvement
-Our shelter is constructed out of fabricated materials and erected by others
-Our water is centrally distributed, and our waste is escorted "somewhere" away from us
-Our means of heating and cooking are produced by others and delivered via wires
-Our transportation is fabricated by others and fueled by a huge complex infrastructure

Whether we're in the country or in the city, we're about as far removed from nature (and the forces that ensure balance) as a species could ever get (or has ever been.)

Sorry, but I prefer the modern conveniences of turning on a faucet or the air conditioning. To me that is "natural" since it is how humans evolved. Wandering the forest in an animal hide doesn't hold much appeal.

My boss' wife from lonnnnnggg ago was bemoaning the fact that she had nothing to teach her grand kids. They are too into computers and phones and know more about them than she knows. I said, yes. But remember, on the farm, when she was sharing garden space with me and I was showing her how to use cattails... I remembered her on the hottest days of any year putting up tomatoes, juice, veggies... She sewed her own clothes and curtains... When the SHTF she will have lots to offer.
This year I may start harvesting wild seeds for chicken feed as the store bought stuff cuts egg production.
My grandma taught me how to knit using to pencils to start with. We have problem solving skills that don't include youtube. It may be a good time in some ways when we 'go back to nature'. If things shut down for two or three years, we don't have to wear pelts (although my mom loved her mink stole...) It may just be long enough for us to get our heads back on straight. People turn to God in times of trouble.

LOL, I'd hate to have to live without today's conveniences too. I'm much too old to 'make do' now.

I can remember when - I won't say her name because I wouldn't want to embarrass my wife - I knew someone who preferred to buy potatoes in the store because she didn't like the idea of the ones I grew being grown in the dirt, using compost.

Yes, I just assumed folks would know there's always fertilizer ;) Fish poop in the Sea, cows poop on the same grass they eat too!
