I am a dog lover and we have 3 dogs that stay inside the house. Maybe I can say that our dogs are my stress reliever particularly when I am home and in front of the tv and the dogs are on the floor just beside my feet as if guarding me. From what I know about Labradors, they are the affectionate type and despite their large size, they do not pose a threat particularly to humans. I'm sure you will enjoy Tabby's company and vice versa.
One of the granddogs came to visit, yesterday, and meet our rescue. The granddog is a Jack Russell Terrier cross... most generally known as a "cross Jack Russell terrorist"!!!! He's old and cranky. Our new Lab is young and full of energy. Once the Lab realized the JRT wasn't a play thing that you could run full speed into and watch roll... and once the JRT would do anything but turn its lip up, bare its teeth, and growl... they got along pretty well. Played hard for a couple hours and then did what any smart dog would do.... sleep!!!!
