I'm wandering off a bit here, but I have always been nuts about River Dance, ever since I first saw Michael Flatly and his crew. It's interesting how similar this vid is to a river dance, all in the legs and feet, not using their arms Thanks @Ruby Begonia Denise

I lived just outside of this little town in WA State around 2001. I remember the year because of the Towers tragedy. Anyway, what a neat town. I remember going to a bakery there, getting donuts for work etc. They had such wonderful goodies

 

Yes, you are correct, Denise.....another trivia tidbit....Heidi was also the name of Howdy Doody's adopted Sister. No wooden shoes....just wooden feet.

 

When I was about 8-10 years old, my aunt who worked for the US State Department, was stationed in Japan for 8 years. She sent me their little boxed wooden dolls w/wigs, and I got a red silk kimono with the classic Japanese wooden shoes for Getas..
shoes were like this: ...not very comfortable!
