I can't imagine. I was gonna say I'd like to take an astronomy cruise, but I gotta think the seas are rarely perfectly calm enough to set up telescopes.
How about this: 5-month cruise charging upwards of $73K per passenger sells out in under 3 hours (click2houston.com)
I've been on two cruises, one called Navy WestPac Cruise (Navy/Vietnam) LOL and the other, a 4-day Bahamas Cruise on the Sensation out of Cape Carnival, which is east of Orlando, Florida. Due to a hurricane, the ships scheduled ports were turned around, but the cruise was lots of fun. Meals were delicious and nice entertainment, but couldn't win a dime on any casino slots onboard. Stopped in Nassau, Bahamas and Freeport. Do it again, very, very unlikely.
Someone I knew was on a lengthy around the world cruise when the pandemic started. One by one foreign ports started refusing cruise ship tourists to disembark, even though no one on their ship had yet come down with the virus. For a week or more they traveled around the Indian Ocean hoping to be able to make port and catch a flight home. Finally they were allowed to do that in Perth Australia and were put through some kind of decontamination procedure before being escorted by police on several buses directly from the dock to the airport. I don't think I'd want to be a health hostage in the middle of an ocean. They did eventually get most of their money back since the cruise was a bust.
I don't like cruises; so, no. However, I know three people who did. One of them paid $60,000 plus tours and had a great time.
