@Terry Page I have not worn lace-ups in many years, except for heavy hiking boots when we hiked South Mountain in South Phoenix. Unfortunately, as I look about me in public places, nearly all the old guys who have shoes instead of sandals, are all wearing footware nearly identical to my own: all made in China, velcro straps, differing only in color scheme. My favorite walking shoes now are my Ariat Roper Walking Shoes I got in Colorado. My old Ariat Lace-Up Roper boots just got too tight on my feet. Had them on while at both airports and could barely walk. Gave them to a Goodwill in Loveland. The new ones, Ariat brand, are great for walking and can be worn with Wrangler jeans or cargo shorts. Will never own another pair of cowboy boots of any kind. The new Ariat Roper shoes are a great replacement for the old lace-up boots. I love them!!
@Terry Page I have switched over to slip on shoes also. Have a couple of pairs of Skechers and the best walk arounds I've found. My hiking boots are by Merrell. Might try the ones you posted.
