Yes, be that as it may, he was prophesied as a world leader and savior, and while some of the jews followed him, he wasn't a leader of any nation. What I am saying is save Jesus for Hals next thread, "Who was your favorite world leader."
I’m trying to think of a world leader who thought about others before him or herself that’s a tough nut to crack right there maybe Gandhi.
May I have a national leader that I most respected or do I have to have one of your choosing? Israel the MAN, Israel the LAND and Israel the NATION. The three are separate. They were the NATION of ISRAEL and the CHILDREN of ISRAEL even when they were under Roman rule and even when they were under Babylonian captivity. Why is it you always have to do battle over absolutely nothing? Save your battles over something more substantial and something that actually means something to you. A Boy Scout leader can be a respected NATIONAL leader without being the leader of a nation.
Not battling Bobby just getting where you are coming from and a good choice as I said earlier and a good example on the Boy Scout leader. I was thinking Hal was asking for a leader of a nation when in fact he ask for a national leader and that could be the top sales person selling Mary Kay products.
I think it's safe to say that even those that don't believe Jesus was God incarnate, would agree there is no one now, or ever has been anyone on the face of the planet, that could be called a greater leader of Nations, than Jesus. Both while he walked the Earth, and to this day, He is still leading.
I don't think humans are capable, but there are some better than others at doing that I think. Nowadays, folks running for office need a Bullshit-meter pinned to their shirt so we can spot them easier
I remember he and his son had a big falling out. Did not know what it was. But I don't know he wasn't in it to win. Big muddle at the end.
Eisenhower although was disappointed in the treatment of our Bonus Army Veterans by our famous generals Eisenhower,Patton and Macarthur.
