I watch a couple places on YouTube, but I don't subscribe to anybody. Both good and bad info there, and I kinda have my filter set....

I subscribe to several channels: some because they have brought me what I considered to be credible information, others because they encourage interesting discussion or pose questions that I might not have otherwise thought of. I don't necessarily agree with the people on the channels I watch regularly, nor do I always trust their information, but when you watch the same channel regularly, you get to know the people on it, and that gives you an idea as to who to believe, or on the topics they are likely to be wrong about.

Pertaining to new channels or ones that I am not familiar with, more often than not I will back out of them after a few minutes when I realize that it was little more than clickbait or that the podcaster knows less about the subject than I do. A large percentage of what YouTube will present you with is crap, but that can be said for a larger percentage of what the mainstream media gives us.

Right now, I'm watching a lot of info on a computerized telescope I want to get. It's called a Seestar S50 and you tell it what to do basically and it's capable of taking "stacked" photos of DSOs, Deep Sky Objects, anything bright it can shoot but I love the whole idea and been watching a lot about how-to etc.

Also, I love the Ambience videos and play them anytime I'm at home and just want to chill out. The starscape type I am really liking and like the music that fits them, here's an example of what I really like :)

I was gonna get a computerized telescope but never pulled the trigger. Now I believe that Meade is out of business.

I heard the same about Celestron and maybe it was Mead but also orion but a agena Astro is still in business and they're really good to work with. That's who I'll get my sea start from but cloudy nights forum is a really good place to find out about all things astronomy and what I'm most interested in is the Astro photography.
