Now Even Some Mainstream Sources Are Talking About Food Shortages

I wonder about it too, Joy. I fell for it during Covid and stocked up on stuff that is now rapidly expiring "use by" dates. I have donated some things to the food drive to get them out of here.

 

I'll go join Marie Laveau in the swamp. I'm only half kidding, gotta go somewhere. Just take a few seeds and my welp producing, bow& arrow,

 

I'm staying right here in the air conditioning until the power goes off. Then I'll probably get out my 38 and bid the cruel world adieu.

 

You reminded me of the woman on Schitts Creek. Made me laugh, We watched 3 episodes of it it was so funny.

A friend and I were talking about this stocking up and she told me she purchased one of t those highly processed food boxes and that was about 25 yrs ago and she now is going to throw it out. I never did that one....but I hear these advertised on some programs I tune into.

Perhaps it's really truly money driven on Everything.

 

We have a boat ,like everything else its old. But it runs, it may make it to the rivers that enter the swamps. We have swamps here but they have homes along the shores.

St Mary's and Suwannee Rivers both go to the Okeefinochee Swamp.

 

My older sister and BIL have a closet full of that stuff from a Mormon company. I think it's good for 20 more years so they are good to go since he is pushing 80.

 

I know all about the Okeefenokee; I was raised about 100 miles from there so I've been to Waycross many times. My nephew married a girl from Fargo GA; she was raised on the edge of the swamp.

 

My grandfather lived there till the late 1920s and my aunt lived there till she passes at 99. I put up the boat route.

They have it all figured out cost of each meal etc...nope, not buying.

 

Much of that is a diabetics nightmare, but its good if you have protein along with it I guess.

 

Try to make sure you have extra supply if you can.
